About Us
From then to now
24 Carrots Bakery is a family affair! The bakery is locally owned by Richard and Demita Boschel, and managed along with their dedicated team of employees.
It all began in 1994 in a food court outlet in Spring Garden Place. Over the years the bakery has relocated and expanded to include wholesale, grocery stores, and direct sale from our Bake Shop.
Richard completed his Chef’s training in his native France - a country known for its love of bread! His expertise in the culinary arts, experience as an Executive Chef, and love of good food, have contributed to the success of 24 Carrots Bakery. Demita, a BBA graduate from Acadia University, joined the growing business in 2008, contributing 25 years of management experience.

Local ·Fresh ·Quality
Our goal is to offer our customers fresh, wholesome breads and baked goods that we make from scratch using quality ingredients. Almost all of our breads are made with out added preservatives or enhancers. We offer an extensive range of products including breads, sweets, pastries, and cakes. We are small enough to provide excellent personalized service, and big enough to meet the needs of large wholesale customers.

Supporting our community is important to us. Fresh breads and baked goods leftover in our Shop at the end of the day are delivered to local soup kitchens and charities. We also donate baked goods to support community suppers and local fundraising events. Some of the organizations we support include:

We receive many requests, and regret that we are unable to support all calls for donations.
